We learn about our Solar System and we describe the movements of the planets relative to the Sun, the Moon and Earth and explain day and night.

Swimming
This term, Chestnut will be going to the Snowdome for swimming lessons.
Children will need to come to school in their P.E. kits and bring their swimming kits in a separate bag.
Swimming kits should include:
- swimming costume (not to be worn under P.E. kit during the day)
- towel
- goggles (if required)
- swimming hat (if fringe covers eyes when wet)
Swimming will take place on Monday afternoons. Children will leave afternoon the lunch break and return before the end of the school day.
