In case of closure on 25.06.2026 due to extreme heat please complete the work stated below.
1. English - We watched the Jungle Book pantomime on Wednesday morning. Write about your favourite character why you liked them. Draw a picture of them to show me who it was. Remember your capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.
2. Phonics - We've been learning about the prefix 'un' this week. Can you write three 'un' words and put them into a sentence.
3. Maths - This week we have started looking at money. Can you sort the coins into copper coins, silver coins and silver and gold coins. Challenge - can you add up amounts up to 100p (£1). Use the Maths game below.
4. Science - We are looking at animals and how to care for them. Can you draw a picture of your pet (or a pet you would like to have) and write about how you need to care for them.

Reading
Please read with your child at least 3 times a week. We encourage all genres of books, but when writing the red home learning diary, please ensure your child has read their school reading book 3 times a week . These texts have been selected to support your child's reading journey.

Spellings will be tested on Tuesdays.
