Here are the final photographs of our 2025 Year 6 Laches Wood residential.
We are so proud of all of the children. Some have conquered fears, grown in confidence, made new friends or simply now know how to put a quilt inside a quilt cover! Everyone has gained valuable 'Experience Points'!

Finally, the biggest thank you to the children who have behaved brilliantly and have been such fun to be around for the three days - THANK YOUUUUU!
Wow! Woodland's Got Talent around the campfire! Memories made and oh how we laughed! Hidden talents shone through and many brave children performed their best joke, dance or song. The children have made more fantastic memories and had a wonderful time.
On to the final day of activities and we'll see you all later!
A fabulous 2nd day was had by all. Everyone has tried something new, faced a fear and challenged themselves in some way. Axe Throwing and Archery went down well and some even learned to ride a bike for the first time! Lots of new friendships have been formed and our Woodlands children have done us proud, interacting and inviting children from other schools to join their football game. Just one evening to go - camp fire here we come!
Coming to the end of a busy first day. As you can see in the photographs, we have had a brilliant time. According to Iyla, 'It's been great!" There are a few tired faces now so, here's hoping for a sleepy night!
Everyone has arrived safe and sound and very excited. Beds are made and lunches have been eaten. We are about to begin our afternoon of Bush Craft and High Ropes!
